SelectOnFocus should be a feature. A lot of developers come to Telerik Blazor because they don't care much for
the current state of html development. With its piled on CSS that resembles C language include files. The same goes for
using java script as a work around. Think about who your customers are, not your background in Html development.
Html is missing the the container elements that other UI frameworks have. Like stack layout, visually appealing lists and tree views.
Please consider customers who love well thought out frameworks. SelectOnFocus is one of those features.
I agree with Rene on looking to get away from JS whenever possible. I, too, was surprised this wasn't already built-in for the TextBox since the NumericTextBox has it. Please add it for consistency.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi René,
Thank you for sharing your opinion on the topic.
I discussed the item with the team and can confirm that your arguments are valid. As a result, I'm changing the status back to "Unplanned" so we can track the demand.

Hello Hristian,
thank you for providing the link to the workaround.
I don't agree with setting this Feature Request to "Completed" though. The requestet feature does NOT exist. It's only a javascript workaround that does exist. In my opinion, the main point of using Blazor is to get rid of the javascript whereever possible.
If it is possible to have this Parameter on the NumericTextBox, why is it not possible to have it on the normal TextBox ?
Please reopen the FeatureRequest and let the follow developers vote on it.

René
Hi René,
I confirm that highlighting the TextBox content on focus is possible without the need for a SelectOnFocus parameter. We have a knowledge base article for demonstration: Highlight textbox content on focus.
