Popover does not work with dynamic anchors

A basic example of the issue is using the Popover with a Grid: https://blazorrepl.telerik.com/cyuGvQPB37aekvo514.

On initial load, the Popover is properly attached to the span elements in the Grid cells. If I filter, however, the elements are disposed and re-initialized - after that, the Popover is not attached to the new elements even though they have the same class used as a target selector.

I've forwarded the information you provided to our development team, and we conducted a thorough investigation. Based on our findings, I can confirm that the issue you're experiencing is a different bug in the Popover component. To address this, I've submitted a public bug report on your behalf: Incorrect Anchor Retained After Element Change.

As the request's creator, you'll automatically receive email notifications regarding any updates. A fix should be planned for one of our upcoming releases.

Changed the code to where it fails at my end...

This is at now working for our purposes on rows in a grid.

Hi Tom,

Reviewing the sample from the initial message in this post, it seems that the bug is fixed. Could you run and test it on 6.2.0 to see if the result you get is the same?

If the issue persists, please send a runnable reproduction for inspection.

Still doesn't work for me... Running Blazor 6.2.0... and want to have a popup at range end with the calendar control. Popup shows right the first time. But if I move the range, the popup remains at the first place...

Do I understand correctly that this fix will be released in August? When it says Release 2024 Q3, I'm unsure if that means the recent 6.x release or one that is yet to come.
