As discussed in your other thread, ability to select date range will suffice to cover your desired scenario. That said, I have converted the item title and status.

In regards to your additional requirement for  "compression" of the displayed timeslots, I'd say it is rather related to the Zoom to fit functionality based on the provided information in the discussion there. This functionality could be evaluated separately in the dedicated thread.
