Double Click event

The need to right-click a file to be able to download it is a bit less intuitive.

I would like to be able to download a file by double-clicking it, or, more generic, to be able to add a double click handler so I can decide what to do with it.

Hi Zeb,

I admit that the feature request is a bit old. During the period, other items with higher priority have been fixed. The feature status is still "Unplanned". That means no specific time frame has been assigned yet. As soon as we move a task to the short-term backlog, the status will change to "Planned", and most likely a release month will appear as well.

In the meantime, if any alternative solutions appear like some kind of handling custom double click, I will promptly share it here publicly, as a comment.

Since this is still unplanned 2 years later, is there a way we can roll our own solution here? Maybe adding some kind of transparent panel over the file area that can capture double-clicks or something similar?
