Hi Dimo,
Thanks for your response.
I just wanted to share that the absence of auto-scrolling during drag-and-drop is not limited to the Scheduler component — it appears to be missing across several other controls as well. In my opinion, without auto-scrolling, the drag-and-drop functionality becomes quite limited in real-world scenarios.
For instance, if the list is long or the scheduler spans a large time range, it becomes almost impossible to reach the intended drop target without manually scrolling, which disrupts the user experience. This feels like a basic usability expectation and an essential enhancement.
I hope you’ll reconsider prioritizing this feature, as I believe more developers would benefit from it once they encounter such use cases.
Hello David,
Indeed, I agree that automatic Scheduler scrolling during drag-and-drop is a nice enhancement. However, this feature request seems to be surprisingly unpopular so far (you are the only one who has voted), so at this point we are focusing on other tasks with higher customer demand. I hope this makes sense.
Regards,
Dimo
