Geolocation Support

Hello

Is it possible to get the map to support Geolocation? Something like whats on the openstreetmap website map where you can click the location button and the map then moves to where your location is. Maybe some event that we can listen on to get the Latitude and Longitude of the users location which we can then use to manipulate the map?

Phil

Hi Phil,

I'm glad that introducing custom buttons is a suitable option for you. I can confirm that until the end of Q4 (early November), at least, our backlog/short-term planning is filled with items of more priority and demand. Thus, the status of this feature is still unplanned.

I added your vote to the original item and marked this as a duplicate.

Sure, that would do it for me - is that feature being worked on?

Hi Phil,

We already have a feature request to introduce custom buttons within the map: "Allow adding custom buttons (commands) in addition to the navigator and zoom buttons." This would enable you to create a custom button and pass your current location metrics to it to center the map accordingly.

Would this meet your needs?
