I'd like to use the adaptive rendering but I also need to keep AllowCustom feature.

This request applies to all components that support AllowCustom feature and adaptive rendering: for example, ComboBox, MultiColumnComboBox.
Alex,
Using AdaptiveMode.Auto and AllowCustom in the ComboBox and MultiColumnComboBox is possible since version 9.0.0, thanks to the fix of the following issue: https://feedback.telerik.com/blazor/1630053-when-allowcustom-true-valuechanged-is-not-fired-if-the-new-input-matches-an-item-from-the-list
I've updated the status of the Feature Request to "Completed" and will also update the Limitations documentation section. Thank you for pointing this out.

Hello Telerik team,
quick question: has this been implemented in the meantime? Because when I tested it just now (https://blazorrepl.telerik.com/QJOBuSOZ141DnmvV09), I was able to enter custom values from the adaptive views.
So can you please confirm this is the case? If so, the Limitations about the adaptive rendering should also be adjusted accordingly. Thanks.
Regards,
Alex
Hi Alexander,
Thank you for pointing that out!
I just updated the article and added a link to this request, so any interested parties can easily find it: https://github.com/telerik/blazor-docs/pull/1505.
At this stage, I am not able to provide a firm estimate for the implementation of this request. What I can advise is to follow the item, so you can get status updates. Once we schedule it for a specific release, we will update the label and you will accordingly receive an email for that if you have subscribed.

We would also like to see this feature implemented.
The documentation for "AdaptiveRendering" states that one limitation is precisely the lack of support for inputting custom values, see Limitations. The article does not, however, state if it is planned to implement that in the future.
Could you please clarify if and when this feature is expected to be implemented? Thanks.
