Keyboard keys (left, right arrows, Home, End) not working in GridSearchBox anymore

Hi,

I noticed that using left or right arrow to position yourself between typed text does not work anymore in the GridSearchBox. Neither does SHIFT+left for selecting parts of typed text. Home or End key is also not working.

 

In previous versions this was still possible.

 

Can be estabished on the demo pages as well:

Hi all,

Please accept my apologies for the fix not entering our latest 4.2 release. While we strive to maintain a meticulous planning process, unforeseen circumstances can occasionally cause such items to slip through the progress.

Now the fix is planned for our next 4.3 release, and the status of this item is changed. I encourage you to continue monitoring it for further updates.

I would also like to know the status of this bug. Did a fix make it in to the newvly release 4.2 version?

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I'm reproducing the behavior on my machine as well.

Indeed, this is a confirmed regression bug, which most likely means that the bug will be planned for fixing in the 4.2 release.

I can confirm this behaviour.

 

on the demo page: Blazor Grid Demos - SearchBox | Telerik UI for Blazor

 

if you start typing fast as the page loads you can move with the arrows, but as soon as the page is completely loaded is not possible anymore.
