Custom rendering for the Chart Series Markers - visual template
I would like to customize the appearance of the Chart markers. For example, in a Scatter Chart, I want to set different markers than the ones supported in the ChartSeriesMarkersType enum.

Hi Greg,

I confirm that the item is still unplanned. Until August at least, our backlog/short-term planning is filled with items of more priority and demand.

I hope this is enough for orientation on the current state.

Is there any progress on this? It would be very helpful if it had the ability to use either custom svg fragment or image url.

Indeed, the feature is still unplanned. That means other items with more priority have been considered over this item for the recent releases. However, it's important to note that things are dynamic, and items like this may be incorporated into our planning at any time.

I requested this at my last job back in October of last year - how is it still unplanned?
