Remove the DateInput mask and type free text
Currently, the Date input components apply a mask to the input which restricts the user to type dates. By modifying the mask, or remove it altogether, the users will be able to freely type dates.

Hello Chrysostomos,

Essentially, the DatePicker will support two types of date input, one with free text and one with the current way of how things work.

Can you provide some more info on this issue? What are you plans? Will the user be able to write free text?
