Ability to customize the highlighted/hovered series item
I'm looking for a way to change the hover colors of the chart. Please allow customization of the highlighted series item.

Hi Mark,

As a result of the review, I can confirm that, once completed, the functionality will allow you to change the highlight color to match the background, hiding the highlight effect as needed for the invisible series.

We have now also had trouble when he have needed to use a line series to add arbitrary text to a graph because when hovered upon a highlight appears. Here is an example REPL.

Our use case involves coloured chart backgrounds and the hover state bringing attention to the invisible series used to facilitate our chart.

The change wasn't actually reflected, so I went ahead and updated the status of the other item to be a "duplicate" of this one.

As of R2 2023, the default icon type will be SVG instead of Font. See this blogpost for more information.

The portal status is now changed to "Duplicated". In case we decide to address separate things in the 2 feature requests, we will update the items accordingly.

Hello Mark,

The feature requests are generally the same, yes, but combining them will require closing one of them, which will trigger notifications to people who have already voted for them (and this might be misunderstood as they are rejected/implemented).

When any of the items is added to the roadmap and planned for implementation, we will update both entries.

A long time with no comment on this feature here or in Expose Series Highlight parameter (telerik.com). Should these requests be combined?
