[Accessibility] Screen readers read the first element of the dropdown at page load without being focused

The first element of the dropdown gets read aloud at page load even without being focused.

Using the latest version of (Chrome and Chromevox) and (Firefox and NVDA).

Hi all,

We have been reviewing this, and we have found that the behavior is expected based on - how the screen readers work in browse mode.

The screen reader switches between the modes by itself. No manual switching is required. Although it's possible. NVDA, for example, uses Insert + Space key to toggle between the modes.

To summarize, in form mode, you dictate the order of elements read on the page through tab navigation. In browse mode, the screen reader starts reading based on the hierarchy and accessible content.

Following the above statement, I'm marking this item with a "Won't Fix" label.

Thank you for the feedback.
