Thank you for giving us an idea for thumbnail scrollable navigation. I see this scenario as a knowledge base article example. The current configuration allows creating such navigation.

You can easily achieve the described functionality by using some CSS and additional custom HTML. Optionally, you can use a javascript function that keeps the synchronization of the AutomaticPageChange and the thumbnail.

Shortly the knowledge base article will be live. In the meantime, I have prepared an example in the attached project here. Please run and test it to see the result. I'm also marking this public item as complete.
