Persist Drawer Content

Drawer component does not have a persist content option (e.g. PersistDrawerContent="true")

I believe the drawer component should have the same feature as Tabstrip PersistTabContent="true"

As of R2 2023, the default icon type will be SVG instead of Font. See this blogpost for more information.

Interesting that there is no traction on this feature; not sure if it is usable without it

Hi Vasim,

We are prioritizing the enhancements based on the community demand and we are tracking the gathered votes to evaluate that. Although I also consider this enhancement useful, it looks like it hasn't gained much popularity and thus we haven't scheduled it for implementation yet.

In this case, an option I can suggest for potentially escalating the implementation is to use our so-called "Feature Acceleration" program. This is a paid service that allows you to negotiate a deal with our management to include the desired feature sooner in our roadmap.

Hi,

Any chance Persist Drawer Content option would get released sooner than later?

I am asking because I am starting a new project, and without this feature, I would not be able to use the Blazor framework and instead use the MVC/JQuery framework; which is excellent, but it would be nice to use your Blazor framework for a new project.

In my opinion, the component is useless without this feature for an application.

Thank you for sharing this feature request.

Indeed, it is a valid request for the Drawer component as well. I am marking it with `Unplanned` status that defines that the feature is approved, but still not included in the short-term planning.
