globally for Telerik Blazor controls/inputs components we would prefer the ability to assign aria attributes. This will enable my organisation's user experience to improve for people relying on screen readers.
aria-labelledby will enable us to stack labels for inputs in a group.
aria-describedby will enable us to provide additional information in context to an input, without the need for users to jump out of the input and find it.
Hi all,
In 2.27.0 release we introduced aria-labelledby and aria-described by to most of our inputs - Switch, CheckBo, TextBox, TextArea, MaskedTextBox, NumericTextBox, TextArea, AutoComplete, MultiSelect, ComboBox, DropDownlist, DateInput. In 2.28.0 we will include the parameters for DatePicker, DateTimePicker, TimePicker along with Slider and RangeSlider.

Joana

Hi Stephen,
After research and discussion with the development team, we agreed that the ability to set aria-labelledby and aria-describedby attributes to the Telerik inputs is a valid feature request.
Therefore, I updated the thread status to "Unplanned" - it indicates that this is a valid feature that could be implemented in a future version of the product.
I have also added your vote to increase its popularity as we are prioritizing the feature requests implementation based on the community interest and demand. Since you are the creator of the post, you are subscribed and will receive email notifications when its status changes. This is the best way to keep in track with the progress of the feature as once we know which release will contain its implementation , we will update its status in the feedback portal and you will be notified via email accordingly.

Hi Stephen,
I am in process of investigating if that would be possible along with the development team. I will get back to you with details once confirmed.
Thank you for your patience while we revise the matter!
