This is a great suggestion, we can add the aria-live attribute as an enhancement to our component. This is why I changed the item type in our Public Feedback Portal to Feature Request with status "Unplanned". For the problem with the NVDA screen reader, it seems that NVDA reads in google chrome only through mouseover. In other browsers, the screen reader reads the last action on the page.
