Dropdown closes immediately after opening on mobile device

This behavior is observed in the DropDownList when filtering is enabled and in the ComboBox regardless of whether filtering is enabled or not.

The (filter) input gets focus, which shows the soft keyboard, which changes the viewport size, which causes the dropdown to hide. Unfortunately, there is no workaround at the moment (except perhaps disabling filtering for small viewports).

Hi Ivan,

The bug was fixed prior to the release, so this is why its status appeared completed a couple days earlier than the release date. The fix actually became available with version 3.0.0 of Telerik UI for Blazor which was released on January 19th. Having this in mind, if you now upgrade to 3.0.0 you should not experience the bug.

Do not rush to close the staus - the error is still present. in the video attachment with a demonstration of a drop-down list error with a filter field on mobile device

Oh, another nail to the cofin.

So there is not ANY working data picker for serverside/large dataset yet, usable on desktop and also mobile devices?

1 Grid with colum filtering- no

2 Dropdownlist with filtering - no + more bugs/features declined reports arround same things. 

3 Combobox with filtering - no

4 grid with filterrow on narrow screens - no
