The drop down list component does not allow the user to associate a label with the underlying html select input control, which goes against accessibility standards. It appears that most, if not all, of the other components follow the accessibility standards. Please fix the drop down list and/or allow attribute splatting so that developers can apply their own attributes (like aria-label) to meet accessibility standards.
Hi Chris,
Thank you for noticing and reporting!
We currently have another opened feature request in the feedback portal covering this topic - Missing label causes an accessibility issue.
To keep the portal clean and be able to properly track the requests, I will now mark this thread as a duplicate to the previously opened one. I have added a vote on your behalf to it to increase its priority for fixing. In the meantime, you can also follow it to be notified via email when its status changes (this is the best way to know when a bug is fixed as we announce such information in the portal).
If any further questions or concerns appear, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for choosing Telerik UI for Blazor!
