TelerikForm Validation not working on my edit screen

I have a simple TelerikForm using required validation but for some reason when I set the model via an async call to the server the validation doesn't fire. I am using the same form when I add a new item and the validation is working fine.

Hello Stewart,

I am glad to read that you made it work! If you had some predefined values for the fields that met the validation criteria, indeed the validation errors would not appear. 

That being said, I am marking this bug report as "Declined", because this is not a unwanted behavior in the component.

I found a fix. I removed the initial initialization.
