Switch - Icon Support

I would like to see icon support for the switch control.  See the attached screen shot for the use case.

Thank you for the example, unfortunately; in this case, we use SVGs for all of our icons, so the font icon version is not an option for us at the moment.  I will keep this in mind for future if we ever decide to turn all of our SVGs into a font-icon pack.

 

I think what we would need is a template option where we could supply the content of the on and off area.

Hi Ricky,

I have changed the status of this request to Unplanned, meaning we find it valid. As currently we do not provide support to customize the switch in such a way besides customizing the actual content, a plausible workaround would be to use CSS. I have prepared a rather simple example that demonstrates such an approach, which you can run directly in the browser through our REPL: https://blazorrepl.telerik.com/cRuebLlb11K8pbzR09. Note I have used Google's Material Icons in my example, but the same approach should be valid for any third-party icons, as long as the font-family is correctly set.
