Expand groups programmatically when LoadGroupsOnDemand is enabled

If LoadGroupsOnDemand="false", I am able to programmatically expand the groups through the state. However, this is not possible when loading group data on demand.

Please allow programmatically expanding the groups when LoadGroupsOnDemand="true". This should go together with an event (OnStateChanged?) that will fire when LOD groups are expanded or collapsed.

Now we are more than 1.5 year further and still this item is not planned while it has 20 votes and has been escalated! In the mean time many new components/functionalities have been added, but effort on feature improvements/bugs on existing components falls behind unfortunately. I am disappointed this takes so long to implement, at least give us some information why this has not been planned yet. Please try to focus more on making existing components better in stead of introducing new components/functionalities.

Hi Avery,

I admit that the feature request is a bit old. During the period, other items with higher priority have been fixed. The feature status is still "Unplanned". That means no specific time frame has been assigned yet. As soon as we move a task to the short-term backlog, the status will change to "Planned", and most likely a release month will appear as well.

In the meantime, if any alternative solutions appear, I will promptly share them here publicly, as a comment.

Regards,

This post is almost 2 years old with no response, but I would like to know the same thing. Was there a way to do what the poster is asking?
