Zoom event

The event would fire when the map zoom level has changed.

ADMIN EDIT: The new zoom level should be accessible in the event handler.

I agree a event when the zoom level changes and when the maps is moved so I can restore the zoom.level and map position the next time the user loads the component.

Hiya Radko

In my use case I would just need an event triggered each time the zoom level changes and what the new zoom level is. It would be really useful if there could be an event fired each time the map moves -> whether thats zoom, pan etc Not sure if thats for this discussion as not related to just zoom.

Hi Phil, Christian, and everyone following this thread,

In an attempt to deliver what you are after, would you be able to share more details in regards to the actual use-case you want to achieve through this event? For example, besides the new Zoom level, would you expect any additional values to be provided to this event as arguments? If 'yes', what values are these?

As of R2 2023, the default icon type will be SVG instead of Font. See this blogpost for more information.

Please consider this - the component could really do with some extra events especially for monitoring when the map moves / changes.
