FilterView Control for Blazor

Have been pouring through all your release videos, (Great Job Sam, Ed Et Al...) to be better informed as to what project type to select for a new Enterprise Admin App. The FilterView control stood out as a means of potentially saving me more than a week of work, but I just can't see making a new forms app going forward. Blazor and Maui seem like the only logical choices going forward, please add if convenient...

Thanks.

Hello Kurt,

Thank you for the additional information. I can confirm that this is indeed a valid feature request and thus I have changed the status of the Feature Request to "Unplanned". Thank you for raising the discussion for this component as it would be a great addition to our product suite.

In the meantime the best match for the behavior you would like to achieve is the Filter component that we will release as part of our 3.1.0 release.

Hi Svetoslav,

That is good news too, but I was looking for the brand new FilterView control for WinForms.
FilterView Control - Telerik UI for WinForms Components - Telerik. It looks like something I was about to try and accomplish in conjunction with a grid to replace a very obnoxious, slow running, database intensive "object" report for accountants. I am getting ready to replace a 15+ year old WPF Admin Enterprise Application and am having a difficult time trying to decide on what technology to use for the base application. I'm thinking WPF gives me the shortest route to victory, but Blazor may get me another 18 years... MAUI seems too buggy, I haven't been able to get your prerelease MAUI controls to sync with the prerelease MAUI bits, so I'm thinking I'll let the dust settle on that first before trying to start creating a production ready app.

The tools you already have in place or soon in your pipeline are contributing factors in my app technology choice.

Thanks,

Kurt

Hello Kurt,

Does the FilterView component you refer to match the Filter Component that you can see in the AJAX product suite? If that is indeed the case, I am happy to report that we will ship that component for the Telerik UI for Blazor as part of our next release 3.1.0. You can see the public item for this component from Filter Component for Blazor

I am kindly waiting for your feedback.
