I confirm that this is still the best way to use a Treemap component.

I admit that the feature request is a bit old. During the period, other items with higher priority have been fixed. The feature status is still "Unplanned". That means no specific time frame has been assigned yet. As soon as we move a task to the short-term backlog, the status will change to "Planned", and most likely a release number will appear as well.

For the time being, you can consider wrapping the Kendo jQuery TreeMap widget by following the sample project here: https://github.com/telerik/blazor-ui/tree/master/common/kendo-in-blazor.
