Add AllowCustom feature in the MultiSelect

Like https://docs.telerik.com/blazor-ui/components/combobox/custom-value and https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/multiselect/custom-values/ so the user can input tags on their own without them being in the app data source.

Hi Beverley,

I agree this would indeed be a very useful feature. Its status is currently unplanned but we have it on our radar as it is highly demanded.

The easiest way to track the progress of the item is to follow it. Once we schedule its implementation for a specific release, we will update its label and you will be immediately notified of that change.

Indeed, this item has gathered a lot of interest and yet it is not currently planned.

At this stage, I am not able to provide a firm estimate but I will escalate this to our management. Hopefully, we will be able to prioritize it for implementation sooner.

As of R2 2023, the default icon type will be SVG instead of Font. See this blogpost for more information.

Any update on this one? Should it be assumed that the workaround is the long-term solution? I do follow, but this and some of the other highest voted items have been out here for years with minimal updates.
