Accordion style expander (Panelbar)

Having the ability to specify sections and then allowing the user to expand the section can be very helpful for complex content or menus.

The sections can be expanded so 1 is visible always or multiple can be expanded.

Hello Kyle,

By default the component does not have height set so its element will stretch to accommodate the content.

By the way, it will be released in our upcoming 2.24.0 release in about a week, so you will be able to test it out yourself pretty soon.

Hi Marin,

Browsing, I found this Panel Bar useful.  How can I modify it to have the height automatic?  I don't want scroll bars and the content is dynamic.

From the post I see that Panelbar is planned for 2.24.  Would that be around  August 2021?

I am attaching here another example with some custom markup that uses existing Telerik classes, and the AnimationContainer. Comments in the code offer some more hints.

Hello Patrick,

For the time being you can do something similar with a TreeView. It offers expand/collapse animations and you can put generic content in its Template.

I also added the "panelbar" word to the title because this is the common name we use for such a component in other suites.
