Focus correct date part stops working when using format yyyy-MM-dd

If you use the format "yyyy-MM-dd" type in a full value and go back to change the year part the focus changes to the month part.

For example enter 2022-01-10 and then go back with the mouse to the year part. Type in 20. The focus then changes to the month part before completing the year part.

This happens with other formats as well when you use MM. The leading zero seems to screw things up. If you play around with the control and changing stuff you will notice that the focus function does not work.

Hi John,

After further reviewing I can confirm that it's still not fixed.

The problem here is related to another public item on our Public Feedback Portal. I am now marking this as duplicated to the DatePicker loses focus when then input starts with 0. Thus, we will handle both issues together. Take a look that we will cover both scenarios there.

Hello John,

It looks like we may have marked this as a duplicate by mistake, sorry about that.

I managed to reproduce the issue. The component seems to act inconsistently, but I can't understand if moving to the month part is intentional or not. I mean, if the component assumes that the user is editing just the second half of the year part - YYYY.

Let me check with the developers and I will update the issue status again.

This as stated as a "duplicate". The item you link to is marked as completed but this issue is still not fixed. Should I make another issue then?
