The item status is indicated by the label on the top-left. Here is what all statuses mean.

When you follow an item and we change its status, you will receive an automatic notification.

On a side note, I encourage everyone who is interested in a Captcha, to share their preferences and specifications about what features they need - text, images, sound, any other functionality, etc.

Most likely, we will only provide the UI for the Captcha and appropriate APIs. Any word, image, sound and verification services should be custom or third-party solution. UI components normally do not manage app security directly.
