Grid Filter
Looking for feature parity between the Telerik React Grid Filter and Blazor for filtering.  This is one of our most used features of Telerik's grids...our grids often have 1000s of elements in them, being able to filter is a huge help to our users.

Hi James,

Let's continue this in your ticket so we can see how things go after an upgrade to the current latest and referencing the JS Interop file from the CDN.

So I know this is a while later than when it was posted, but I am still having an issue whereby the detached popups such as the date time picker, is not working. 

To clarify, the components work when I test my app through visual studio. 

However, once I publish the app in debug or release mode, the detached popups no longer work. 

My windows still work, but filter menus and date pickers do not present the little window. 

I have <TelerikRootComponent> in my MainLayout.razor, but still once published, it doesn't work. 

Help?

Hello Marin Bratanov,

 

  1. yes, the live demo works for me
  2. No, i did not have <TelerikRootComponent>, in my mainLayout. I forgot this bit while following https://docs.telerik.com/blazor-ui/getting-started/server-blazor. So everything was working except filtering.

One suggestion: <TelerikRootComponent> should impact all controls and functionality, so if it is there, everything works, else, nothing (telerik blazor) works.

Is our demo working for you live: https://demos.telerik.com/blazor-ui/grid/filtering?

Also, can you confirm you have the <TelerikRootComponent> at the root of your layout, as shown here: https://docs.telerik.com/blazor-ui/getting-started/what-you-need#project-configuration? If not, does adding it help? If not, I advise that you open a support ticket so we can discuss the particulars of the application so we can avoid guessing.

I am glad to let you know that we are currently working on implementing the filtering functionality. If everything goes as expected, we will include it in one of our next releases.
