RadImageEditor: add Crop to circle image

Hi,

I hope you are doing well. I'm creating a profile form where users can upload a profile image. They can choose a file from the PC and it will be nice to pop up an image editor to crop the image as a circle and center the face to the center of the result image.

I have found this article https://www.telerik.com/blogs/crop-save-images-telerik-ui-for-xamarin-imageeditor

Is it possibile to achieve the same result with an ImageEditor control?

Thank you.

Hello, Massimo,

RadImageEditor from the Telerik UI for WinForms suite also offers crop functionality. However, the ImageEditorElement.Crop method accepts a Rectangle as an input parameter.

It sounds like a reasonable request to offer different crop shapes in RadImageEditor

I have logged it in our feedback portal by making this thread public on your behalf. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.

Currently, the possible solution that I can suggest is to crop the circle as it is demonstrated in the following StackOverflow thread:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47203162/how-to-crop-an-image-to-a-circle-in-c-sharp-winforms

I hope this information helps. If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
