Hi,

Please check the attached sample project.

I think CompositeFilter does not respect CaseSensitive property.

Thanks

Hello, Ketan,

The provided sample project is greatly appreciated.

Usually, the MasterTemplate.CaseSensitive property controls the case sensitive filtering of the grid. Indeed, the filtering behaves in a different way when using a FilterDescriptor and a CompositeFilterDescriptor in the provided sample project even though an identical expression is applied.

I have logged it in our feedback portal by creating a public thread on your behalf. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.

I have also updated your Telerik points.

Currently, the possible solution that I can suggest is to use a simple FilterDecsirptor or the custom filtering functionality where you can filter the rows according to your custom defined conditions.

As to the What's new link, it is expected to has already been fixed. Please refer to the following link: https://www.telerik.com/support/whats-new/winforms
The release history can be found here: https://www.telerik.com/support/whats-new/winforms/release-history/ui-for-winforms-r2-2020-(version-2020-2-512

I hope this information helps. If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
