RadMap: Map could use vector tiles

Hi
We would like to use vector tiles in our offline mapping applications, like ones you can get here :- https://openmaptiles.com/downloads/dataset/osm/europe/great-britain/england/#5.03/52.946/-2.426

I think telerik only supports raster files right now. Is there any plans to support vector files in the future? Could it be added to the roadmap?

(I am not looking for a way to convert vector files into PNG/Bitmap/JPEG Image tiles in a custom provider thanks)

Hello, Jason,

Please make sure that you cat your vote for the item in order to increase its priority. The more votes an item gathers, the higher its priority becomes.

Would love to see this as well. Seeing that Vector tiles are the newer thing and becoming extremely popular

Please provide as detailed information as possible describing what is the exact functionality that would expect to have in the map control from the Telerik UI for WPF suite.

I would love this feature in WPF as well. I am currently looking at the vector tiles that are served back from

To be honest, this seems to be the first request for vector files support in RadMap. Currently, we don't have plans for introducing such functionality. However, it sounds like a reasonable request. That is why I have logged it in our feedback portal by making this thread public. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.

I have also updated your Telerik points.
