RadWebCam: add support for live network streaming (send live stream to another computer)

Dear,

I'd like to send the webcam stream to another computer, to show live.

 

How do I do that?

I understand the importance of this feature for you. However, note that the main purpose of RadWeCam is to give your users the ability to view a video feed, take and save pictures and video directly from your WinForms application. It covers a great diversity of scenarios - whether you are building software for a gym subscription, or for surveillance, access control, a photo booth, machine learning or anything else, you can rely on RadWebCam

Live network streaming is a powerful feature and we will definitely consider it in the future improvement of the control. However, it will involve huge effort and it requires planning. Make sure that you follow this item in order to get notified once any changes occur in the item.

without this functionallity I don’t know why is it for!

Hello, Jeff,

Currently, RadWebCam provides only the functionality for rendering the video and storing this video into a file which can be transferred to another destination at a later moment. However, live network streaming would be a great addition to this control. It sounds to be a reasonable request.

I have logged it in our feedback portal by making this thread public. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.
