RadMaskedEditBox has unusual behaviour when using f0 mask

Hi,

We have an issue with the RadMaskedEditBox control using an f0 mask.

The issue we have is..

When entering a number i.e. 123456 followed by pressing the backspace key, results in the number showing as 123450

We would expect this to show as 12345 so assume this is either a bug or requires up to add additional configuration when using f0.

I have included an example which demonstrates this

Many thanks

Hello, Graeme,

When you specify "F0" as numeric mask in RadMaskedEditBox, this means that no decimal point is available. In this case, when you delete a character with Backspace, the prompt char is inserted at the affected position.

I have logged it in our feedback portal by making this thread public. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.

I have also updated your Telerik points.

Currently, the possible solution that I can suggest is to use "N0" Mask. The issue is scheduled for the upcoming service pack. We will do our best to introduce a fix accordingly.

I hope this information helps. If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
