Incorrect role as link is defined for the 'Filter' button in Windows.
Title: Incorrect role as link is defined for the 'Filter' button in Windows.
Test Environment:
OS: Windows 11 Version 24H2(OS Build26100.2161)
Browser: Edge Version 131.0.2903.112 (Official build) (64-bit)
Screen Readers: Narrator, NVDA Version 2024.4.1, JAWS 2025.2412.50
User Impact:
Screen Readers users will not be able to understand the purpose of the control if Screen Reader is announcing incorrect role for the Filter button in Windows.
Observation:
This issue is observed with (NVDA, JAWS and Narrator) using down arrow key/Tab key.
Pre-Requisite:
Press F12 key to open the developer tool and inspect the code.
In the demo you linked, the Grid's navigatable option is not enabled, and therefore cannot be used as reference when it comes to keyboard navigation and accessibility. In the Keyboard Navigation demo, focusing a column header causes the NVDA reader to announce the column of the name, and that it opens a dialog (for the filter menu). I have discussed the information with a member of our accessibility team, and no issues were found in the accessibility spec at this point.
Let me know if I am missing something from the issue.
Please let me know if any further information is required.
Thanks, Team eDAD

Hello,
We are closing this issue as no additional details were provided. If more information becomes available that allows us to reproduce and investigate the problem, feel free to reopen it and we will be glad to assist further on it.
The provided URLS are not accessible and we cannot test them further. Also, could you please elaborate which product are you using and which version is it as the markup from the attached images does not look as KendoReact components?
