What is the roadmap/strategy for providing Vibe Coding functionality using KendoUI?

We use the KendoUI for jQuery framework in the enterprise SaaS application we create. Giving our clients access to their data and being able to provide a mechanism where a client could build out some of their own functionality on our Saas platform (ie accessing the Data, webservices etc) is highly desirable.

Our front end is based on a MicroUI approach, so if the client can vibecode building a new microUI, the UI experience with the other microUI we provide would be seamless. Examples might be: Create a Scheduler view showing all the European Holidays in 2026, or create a grid view populated with all the customers who have not transacted in 2025 and show their linkedin link/profile.

We can easily wrap any vide coded application into our application now using the microUI approach, but what we dont get is the same look and feel, themes and components being used. It is this we are looking to solve.

Hi Andy,

Sorry for the misunderstanding — 8:00 AM on Thursday works perfectly for me.

I’ve sent the correct image, but because I have many meetings where it’s usually the other way around, I mistakenly thought of Friday when I meant Thursday.

I’ve now scheduled the meeting. Here is the link:  Vibe Coding functionality using Kendo UI | Meeting-Join | Microsoft Teams

Hi Andy,

Thank you for the confirmation.

After I checked, we are 13 hours away. If that is true, how does next Thursday at 07:00 PM sound for you? That will be 08:00 AM on a Friday for me.

Stefan

Stefan

we are in NZ - so will be ahead of your timezone and probably around 12 hours different. So im happy to fit into what you can manage, either before or after work hours is ok - preferably after work my time, so morning your time.

I can manage pretty much any time next week except Wednesday night my time/your wed morning.

regards

Andy

Hello Andy,

I will be happy to meet and chat more about this.

Let me know your current timezone and preferred timeslots and I will proceed with scheduling a call where you can explain in more details the end goal.

We need the timezone, as we are located in Europe and need to be able to pick a timeslot that works for both of us.

Stefan

Hi Stefan. Thanks for the link - that looks like some nice features - but i see that as more of a tool for us to use (as developers) rather than our customers using our software.

It would be great if we could arrange a time to have a chat, so that i can expand/try and clearly get across what we are trying to achieve and where what might fit or not into your approach.

As further detail/thoughts - im thinking of something more like base44 (although there are many in the same space) that are more end user tools. Our customers could use something like that now, and if we have done an integration that can access the data in the software system that we provide they could create an app and then in one of our existing microUIs just point to the created app URL, so the AI app becomes "embedded" in our app. The problem with this approach and what im trying to solve is:

1. The authentication is with two different systems - it can be overcome but its still multiple security stores rather than just using our existing one

2. The AI created app is not using kendo, so it does not use the kendo theme etc that is used in our app so the look and feel is different and is not theme safe.

3. The AI app that is created is not using kendo, so any display of grids, buttons, charts etc are using a different technology so the look and feel is different.

Hi Andy,

My name is Stefan and I`m the Product Manager for our AI functionality.

We have recently released something that can help with coding with AI and specifically for styling, layout and components. It is called the Agentic UI Generator:

https://www.telerik.com/mcp-servers

It is currently available for Angular, React and Blazor, but we are considering other frameworks as well as next steps.

If this is something you think can be helpful in your case, we can schedule a meeting to discuss it and see how we can help you solving this.

Stefan
