Hello Munir,

Thank you for the video provided. However, please note that in order to confirm if there is an issue on our end, we need an isolated runnable sample that replicates the behavior. The behavior could be due to different reasons, such as custom scripts or an additional specific implementation. However, it is hard to determine the cause of the observed problem only through the video and without more information about the exact setup. Thus, I am kindly asking you to provide an isolated runnable sample where the issue can be reproduced.

Troubleshooting and Immediate Suggestions

Possible Causes: The described behavior often occurs if the grid or its data is not fully reinitialized when returning from another page, leading to stale or missing event bindings.
Quick Checks:

  • Try calling the grid's refresh() after returning to the Asset List page.
  • Check the browser console for any JavaScript errors after navigating back, as these could interfere with grid functionality.
  • Ensure that the data source and child row templates are being properly reapplied or refreshed when the page state changes.

Version Policy: Please note that we support only the latest version of Kendo UI for jQuery. The version you are using (2014.2.1008) is significantly outdated, and many bugs and issues have been addressed in more recent releases. You can read more about the old versions support in the link below:

Reproduction on Latest Version: Please check if the issue persists with the latest version (2025.2.702). This will help determine if it is a current product issue or something already resolved.

Looking forward to your reply.
