Clarify status on date/time controls in kendo-ui core

Kendo UI core lists several controls that are available in the library, but there is no mention that they are not actively maintained on main repository readme.

Several controls were obsoleted/unsupported in this commit - https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/commit/db16f60ee6ee43506173a9628723b3de1ed73266, but they are still listed in https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/blob/master/README.md or promotional graphics.

Please clarify its current/future status.

Best regards

K

Hello,

Thank you for the additional clarification.

Yes, those code for those components will no longer be synced in the open source repo. We will consider updating the readme file to make it more explicit.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi

First comments in each file states:

// The current file development is no longer in active phase but the code will be kept as is.
// Please be advised that we have discontinued the sync for this file with the commercial version of Kendo UI for jQuery.
// To take advantage of new features please visit (https://www.telerik.com/kendo-jquery-ui) and consider upgrading to a commercial license.import "./kendo.core.js";

We discovered several bugs in open source versions of datetime picker, which are already fixed in commercial versions and not pushed to ui core.

Will those controls be eventually fully synced with commercial version? If no, then I believe you should update status in readme, to notify that they are no longer maintained on OSS version.

Regards

K

Hello,

As far as I understand, with the commit you mentioned the controls in question are being returned to the kendo-ui-core package, and the readme file correctly reflects which components are included in the Open-source package.

Let me know if I am missing something.
