Chart labels overlapping

In the Kendo UI Chart Widget, if labels are too close to each other, they end up overlapping, making the labels unreadable (as visible in the attached screenshot), thus rendering the widget unusable.

It would be really useful to have implemented a feature similar to Smart Labels (included in the WPF version and also documented in the attached screenshot)

Hi Eyup,

 

I can see many people are asking to have smart labels in kendo chart also, so do you have any planning for same or can you share the logic of smart labels?
I have multiple series in the chart like 2-3 lines, 1-2 bars etc and their series labels are overlapping badly.

Currently, we have a very nice and detailed article for resolving overlapping label visuals. It is not exactly for this scenario per se, however, I believe it can be very beneficial in grasping the general idea:
