Show the selected operator in a grid filter row

It would be great if the selected operator could be made visible in a filter row. For instance when I select the operator "Is greater than or equal to" the filter button icon should reflect this operator option. Something like this:

Hi Ron,

Thank you for the idea that you have shared. 

Indeed, making the filter operator of the filter row readily visible to the user is not available at present. Until the item gathers popularity and demand, I can recommend manually interchanging the icon of the filter via the jQuery html() method.
