Start Day changes to selected End Date

I'm observing this issue with the Demo version of the DateRangePicker: https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/daterangepicker/index

 

  1. Enter Start Date via keyboard (ex. 7/1/2017)
  2. Click on End Date to select a date in the popup calendar (ex. 7/10/2019)

 

The End Date is not set and the Start Date changes to the selected End Date.

Hi, Joel,

I have raised the priority of the item, however it is still not scheduled for fixing. When it is scheduled, the status will change from Unplanned to Planned.

The bug fixes and feature requests are all prioritized based on our clients' needs as well as the severity (meaning if the control usability is impaired and how much).

I just tried this using the latest version (2020.1.219) and I still get the same behavior.  When is this scheduled to be fixed?

Hello, Emily,

Thank you very much for the video, we were able to reproduce it now following the steps.

I have logged an issue in our public repository and you may follow it here:

As a token of appreciation for helping us find and reproduce this issue I have also added some Telerik points to your account. 

Unfortunately at the moment, there is not an easy workaround. Let us know if this is a serious issue from your point of view and if you need one so we can see if we find a way to overcome this until the issue is fixed.

Hi Alex,

I'm attaching a video.

If you type the date in the Start field then use the popup calendar to select the End date, the Start field gets overwritten by the selected End date.

I tried to reproduce the described behaviour to no avail.

Would you be able to record a short video of the steps, perhaps I am missing something?
