TreeList Multi-column headers Excel Export bug

Steps to reproduce bug:

  • add also toolbar: ["excel"] on config options
  • Run dojo and hit export

The result has broken Headers

Hello,

I am changing the status of the item to 'Completed'.

Starting with the Kendo version 2021 R1 (2021.1.119) version the issue is not reproducable - https://dojo.telerik.com/@NeliKondova/eXabOZEy

@jamana,

 

The workaround is to create the excel export yourself. You can use the bind function to attach your custom function to export the excel file. In the custom function, you can create the excel book as per your desired requirement.

Hi Deepak,

At present, the current item has not been included in the immediate planning for the suite. Whenever a change to the status of the item is present, it will be immediately reflected here, in the Feedback portal.

We are still facing this bug on excel export. Can you please point us to the Kendo version in which this was fixed?

Thank you for the detailed reproduction steps. I followed them and reproduced the issue. It is indeed a bug and we logged it for fixing.
