Please add ability to select, copy and paste cell text/value. We even not able to select the cell value.
We want to copy & paste cell velue/text from kendo grid. But we are not able to select the cell text itself for copy. I think once we are able to select the cell text, we can copy than.

Hello Krishnakant,

If the behavior you are seeing is different it can be due to the outdated version of the components. Try upgrading the widgets to the latest release and see how that makes a difference. The current version is 2019.1.220.

Thanks Viktor. It is workign on the link you have provided, but not on my website. May be the version issue? I'm using kendo jquery 'Kendo UI v2017.2.621' version. Could that be issue? If I need to upgrade to newer version, what will be the steps? And will that cause any issue with currently working kendo controls?

Hello Krishnakant,

The text in Grid cells can be selected out of the box. Please refer to the example below for reference. The contents of the Grid can be selected and copied with Ctrl+C.


In case you would like to copy the contents of selected Grid cells I would suggest using the approach illustrated in the following example:
