Add Import Excel sheet in Kendo UI grid
It would be nice to have a feature available to let user import excel sheet and import its contents in existing Kendo UI grid.

We don't have plans to support this feature for the Kendo UI grid widget, sanjeev.

However, you can make use of the excel import feature of our new spreadsheet widget, announced today with our first major release for 2016. See more info here:
