Have you considered using the third-party plugin for persian calendar available here:
http://keith-wood.name/calendarsPickerRef.html

Do you find it sufficient?

Update: After some research and internal talks between PM and engineering, we decided that we won't be able to provide additional value proposition on top of the open-source plugin listed above. 

Due to this reason we are closing this request. Still we are open to contributions in our Kendo UI Core project (https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core), in case you guys come up with a solution for integration with our Kendo UI framework.

It would be great if we could use/define another/alternative cultures such as Persian calendar(https://github.com/jalaali/moment-jalaali) in Kendo-UI as well.
