@Admin: this item has not been completed. I can find no styles suitable for checkboxes or radiobuttons. I am not going to include mobile css just so I can have very odd and out-of-place looking switches instead of checkboxes.

The default styles is not at all what we're asking for, Admin. We're asking for a widget that styles checkboxes and radios similar to a plugin like "jqTransform" or "Uniform" - What you're suggesting is not a fix, and it makes me wonder if Kendo really understands this request.

Agreed. We're currently utilizing a jQuery plugin called "uniform" that works really well for this. Unfortunately it also styled selects, buttons, text fields and textareas, which is way over kill for what we want. So we stripped that code out of the plugin.

It would be a pretty easy implementation if Kendo did something similar to this. 

How about a generic styled button group and toggle button (or on/off switch) for Kendo UI Web, as a possible replacement for radio and checkbox form elements? These controls are available in Kendo UI Mobile, but should have an unique style for 'Web'.

After all, who really loves html radio controls?

I think it should be across all themes.  Essentially, if you are using kendo you want all html controls to match the look and feel.  Right now it doesnt look good when you have most of your controls looking like the kendo theme and then some standard checkboxes...they just look out of place.

At minimum you should have some style setup like you do for the textbox (k-textbox) to make it look like the other kendo controls.

I think this have to do with "Basic nice form effect include:text,textarea,checkbox,radio,select,file,button" already started. That's the stylization of all form elements for all themes. My english is bad but i hope you can understand.

Agreed.  Would like to remove dependencies on JqueryUI.

KendoUI also should have enhanced UI for Radio buttons and check boxes
