RadGroupBox - with collapsed header does not fill the entire content if there is a docked child control inside the groupbox

After more than 10 years this is STILL a Bug.

https://feedback.telerik.com/winforms/1369181-fix-radgroupbox-with-collapsed-header-does-not-fill-the-entire-content-if-there-is-a-docked-child-control-inside-the-groupbox

The groupbox header does not collapse when I put a table layout panel inside of it.

Is this product (Telerik for winforms) still being supported? Or should I be looking elsewhere for a different controls toolkit solution for my company?

Hello,

@Michael, thank you for the suggestion. It is greatly appreciated.

@Zander, the Telerik UI for WinForms is still supported and we have no plans to discontinue support for it. The desicion whether to use our controls or not is up to you.

The issue that was mentioned has still not been fixed. However, there is a workaround shown in the feedback item. Also, the suggestion that Michael post about setting the padding. Does none of this work for you? RadGroupPanel without a header look like just a simple RadPanel. Is it possible for you to use RadPanel for now or try the other suggestions?

I would like to note that we are constantly prioritizing items for each sprint we are trying to address first the most voted ones. When we are planning which issues to work on we take into consideration various factors, such as complexity, demand, is there suitable workaround or not, how many votes an item has, also available resources in the team, etc. I understand that there is a lot of time and this issue is not fixed but be sure that in the meantime we were working on fixing other complex bugs or introduce new wanted features in our controls.  I hope you can understand in this matter.

For now, if you want you can share more information about the exact setup that you have and then, we could thing of a suitable solution for you. Is it possible to modify the setup in the provided project in order to mimic how exactly you achieve a table layout panel inside of group box header and demonstrate there the problem that you have. We will do our best to help you overcome the problem you are facing.

Thank you in advance for your understanding. I am looking forward to your reply.

Have you tried setting padding top of the groupbox? For me, the default value was 18. Setting it to 2 (like the other padding values) fixed this for me.
