Dynamic Theme

Dear,

 

would be greate a Dynamic Theme, when we could change all colors from the theme programatically, using a XML to store the custom specification.

 

Inclusive, all themes could be turned into a Dynamic theme.

Hi Jeff,

The theme mechanism is complex and the are many settings that can e customized by the theme. Moreover, there are many ways to achieve similar result and not all themes are built the same way. Although it is possible to change the them in the code this is not recommended because this can lead to unpredictable results.

As you you probably know we have a tool for theme editing: Visual Style Builder. We are using it to create the themes as well. You can check the following feature which allows to change specific colors in the entire theme: Color Blending.
