"High Performance with RadGridView and Virtual Mode including Filtering, Sorting and Grouping" is not working for RadGridView Q3 2915

"High Performance with RadGridView and Virtual Mode including Filtering, Sorting and Grouping" example is not working for RadGridView Q3 2015. When I click on the Column header for sorting ( same thing for grouping and filtering)  and I m getting exception "Sorting operation is not supported in VirtualMode.".  Same sample is working for Q3 2014. Following is the URL for the sample

As I mentioned, you should use the projects that are in the KB as they are up to date. Should you need any assistance, feel free to submit a support ticket to seek assistance from our support staff.

Hi Stefan,
This is fix my problem with sorting But I am not able to do grouping. Is any property for enabling grouping.

As you seems to have interest in such scenario, I will also point you to the following feature request: http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/154/Feedback/Details/168462. This is for a virtual grid component and in the comments, you can share your thoughts what you functionality in such component will be most useful for you.

Hello Inderpreet,

In Q3 2015, we have added API which will prevent these exceptions from being thrown and we have also updated the projects in the article. I assume, you are using the old project, since you are still observing the exception.

You can either download the new projects, of you can set the newly added property in your project - for example in the custom master template. The property is called: ThrowExceptionOnDataOperationInVirtualMode and should be set to false.
