Hello James,
Generally speaking, our UI for WinForms suite does not provide SplashScreen control. You could follow the approach described in the Add SplashScreen to your application KB article to achieve similar behavior. There is logged a feature request to implement such control in our Feedback Portal. You can vote for its implementation. By voting, you are increasing its priority. In case this request is of interest to more people and gathers enough votes so its priority gets high enough, then we will consider it and make it part of our future plans.
Regards,
Dinko

I have come looking for a solution to change this.
The splash screen window is imposing, and like many splash screens these days should be treat as part of that application only when it comes to task switching, except you can't move it and can't get behind it whilst visible.
I would expect it to appear in the title bar, and then be replaced by the main application in the title bar when it is finished.
This allows you to switch to and fro the application, regardless of the splash screen still loading.
